BIOGRAPHY

1970 born in Fukuoka, Japan
1991 graduated from Kuwasawa Design School, Tokyo
1992 began to study under GENDOU OGAWA ,Noh-Mask Carver at school of UJIHARU NAGASAWA who is living national treasure of Noh-Mask Carver
1996 master's name, BIDOU was given by GENDOU
1997 lectured on "Making Noh-Mask" at Romania Art Academy, Romania
lectured on "Traditional technique for making Noh-Mask" at class of JAMES KRENOV in the College of the Red Wood California, U.S.A.
1998 was approved as attached Noh-Mask Carver of School of HOUSHOU by the head master, FUSATERU HOUSHOU
2000 made 5 masks (KO-OMOTE, FUSHIKI-ZOU, OKINA, SHAKUMI, SHOUJOU) for the museum of Nihon University, Tokyo
2001 made 4 masks (MAGOJIRO, WAKA-ONNA, HEITA, DEIGAN) for the museum of Nihon University, Tokyo
2002 made 2 masks (SHAKA, CHU-BESHIMI) for the play "DAI-E" at FUSATERU HOUSHOU' s request
